A beautifully hand painted set of three turned-wood russian dolls. Set of three hand-turned wooden nesting dolls, painted by hand and finished in a clear satin varnish. Within the smallest doll is a little yellow painted wooden star with thread to hang from the tree. This would make a wonderful family heirloom to treasure and bring out each Christmas. As these are all hand painted, each set is unique and numbered and there may be minor variation to colour and design from that shown in the photo. The star is unique each time too and its expression may change.
The wooden dolls themselves are skilfully hand turned from wood.
