A printed illustration from an original water colour depicting a friendly little blue robot with a yellow eyes from a series of paintings about life in the future. I spotted these wee wind up robots when travelling around Japan. I'd be carrying around a small water colour pad and paints to capture some of the unusual and interesting things we saw. When I discovered the robots weren't for sale then I pulled out my pad and drew my own versions that I could take home with me.
